What Spectrum CBD Oil Is Best?

The best CBD oil for you depends on what you want to achieve and your circumstances.

Some CBD oils have trace amounts of THC, and others don’t. Some CBD oils are more potent than others. Plus, things like frequency of use and your individual body chemistry can affect how you feel when you take it.

  1. What is full-spectrum CBD oil?
  2. What is the difference between pure CBD oil 3000 mg and 1000 mg pure CBD oil?
  3. What are the best CBD gummies?

What Is Full-Spectrum CBD Oil?

There are three kinds of CBD, and full-spectrum CBD is one of them. Let’s break them down to understand better how they’re different.

#1: CBD isolate

Also known as pure CBD, CBD isolate is just that — it’s CBD on its own, without any other cannabinoids or compounds that naturally occur in cannabis.

It’s usually in a solid or crystalline form, but sometimes it’s ground up into a fine powder. Some brands market CBD isolate oil, although it’s technically a misnomer because it’s CBD mixed with a carrier oil.

#2: Full-spectrum CBD

There’s a whole spectrum of cannabinoids or compounds in cannabis. This includes things like terpenes, THC, CBD, and so on. All of these compounds work together to enhance the overall effect of cannabis, and this is called the entourage effect.

It’s nearly impossible to trigger the entourage effect with CBD isolate … you need other compounds to work alongside CBD. That’s where the best full-spectrum CBD comes in. It has CBD and all the other special stuff in cannabis, including trace amounts of THC (up to 0.3%). So it’s not enough to get high, but it’s enough to unlock the entourage effect.

#3: Broad-spectrum CBD

This is basically the same as full-spectrum CBD, but there’s absolutely no THC — zero. As most of us know, THC is the compound that gets you “high,” and it can also show up on drug tests.

In this case, broad-spectrum CBD is ideal for people who want the entourage effect but who don’t want to ingest any THC for one reason or another.

What is the difference between pure CBD oil 3000 mg and 1000 mg pure CBD oil?

The difference comes down to the size of the bottle. Potency is how much CBD is squeezed into a given mL or an individual dose. And when you see numbers listed in milligrams on CBD oil bottles, this tells you how much CBD is in the entire container.

So, a 100 mL bottle of pure CBD oil with 3000 mg is three times as potent as a 100 mL bottle of pure CBD with 1000 mg. That’s because three times as much CBD is squeezed into a bottle of the same size.

But things get tricky when the size of the bottle changes. Increase the size of the bottle, and potency decreases. Decrease the size of the bottle and potency increases.

Going back to the example above, a 50 mL bottle of 1000 mg CBD has the same potency as a 100 mL bottle of 2000 mg CBD. That’s because both bottles have a potency of 20 mg per mL.

What are the best CBD gummies?

Honestly, with so many brands popping up left and right, it’s tough to say which one is the best. Instead of giving you an outdated list, we’ll give you a checklist to use as you shop around.

#1: Quality Reputation

Check online reviews, and don’t limit yourself to just a brand’s website. Head to Reddit, check CBD forums and ask fellow CBD enthusiasts. Trustworthy brands typically have strong reputations.

#2: Quality Ingredients

Check gummy ingredients on the back of the label or review third-party lab results if they’re available online. Here, transparency is key — that’s because quality products show off their ingredients; they don’t hide them.

#3: Quality results

The best CBD gummies are safe ones that help you achieve desired effects. If you like gummies that help you focus, shop around for a brand that sells those kinds of gummies. If you like gummies that calm you down, you can shop around for those, too.

As long as the CBD gummies you buy are from a trustworthy brand and are made with quality ingredients, you’re probably in the clear. But always check with your doctor before changing your health routine — that includes adding or changing CBD gummies.
